Description
The U.S Embassy in Lusaka Zambia has a requirement for a firm for supplying and Installation of Multi split HVAC system and associated electrical works for the Main Building at Centre for Dieses Control existing office building.� This construction effort is estimated at Between $250,000 and $500,000 and needs to be completed by December 30,2023, in the district of Lusaka, Zambia. This work shall need the supply and installation of an HVAC system that tends to have the cooling and heating needs of Office Buildings along Independence Avenue replaced. Sixty- four (64) duct-less mini split units shall be replaced by a Multi-Split Variable Air Flow A/c system. The Contractor shall provide a turnkey solution that includes all labor, material and equipment required to efficiently (1) remove the existing units (2) procure and install the new VRF HVAC system, (3) Connect, Test, and demonstrate that all new equipment are fully functional. All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.� At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal: (1) Be able to understand written and spoken English; (2) Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing; (3) Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work; (4) Have all licenses and permits required by local law; (5) Meet all local insurance requirements; (6) Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution; (7) Have no adverse criminal record; (8) Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States; (9) Have good experience and past performance records; (10) Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work in accordance with this solicitation; (11) Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Zambia or plans to establish an office within 30 days of contract award; (12) The offeror shall provide proof of SAM registration to include the SAM; UEI. If a firm is interested in competing for this requirement, please provide a written request for a copy of the solicitation documents to the U.S. Embassy in Lusaka to the email Lusaka-GSO-Contracts@state.gov Requests for a copy of the solicitation must be received no later than 08/15/2023.
