- Title: Sources Sought (SS) - Dolores Project Valves and Actuators NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, BUT RATHER A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The sources sought is open to all interested businesses. For the purpose of this inquiry, the NAICS code of 332911 - Industrial Valve Manufacturing is utilized. The purpose of this Source Sought is to identify potential sources for the acquisition of valves, actuators, and gearboxes to support water pumping through irrigation lateral pipelines. BACKGROUND: The Bureau of Reclamation, Dolores Project located near Cortez, CO, has a requirement for Butterfly valves with electric motor operators/actuators and gear boxes connecting the actuator to the valve. The valves and actuators (electrical operators) support operations inside the water pumping plants, above the concrete floor, on discharge piping that feeds the irrigation lateral pipelines. SCOPE: The Dolores Project is seeking to acquire new, replacement valves and actuators with integral controllers for each pump on the system. A single type of actuator shall be provided to operate all valves, which will allow for ease of replacement and consistency during maintenance. The various torque and operating time requirements of each facility shall be met by supplying appropriate gearboxes to complete the valve/actuator assembly. The following items must be equivalent to the identified characteristics/specifications identified in attachment A: Item Qty 18� NPS 150B Assembly 21s 5 20� NPS 150B Assembly 26s 6 14� NPS 150B Assembly 12s 12 12� NPS 150B Assembly 19s 5 Actuators - Spare (same manufacturer as assembly type) 2 Gearbox (Large) � Spare (same manufacturer as assembly type) 1 Gearbox (Small) � Spare (same manufacturer as assembly type) 1 (NPS = National Pipe Standard; 150B = pipe class rating; XXs = valve operating time open/close) DELIVERY PERIOD: All items are required to be delivered no later than 1 May 2024. The contractor shall state the best schedule they can provide for delivery of the proposed devices. DELIVERY: All items will be delivered to: Dolores Water Conservancy District 20755 Road 25 Dolores, CO 81323 Delivery shall be freight on board destination (FOBD). SOURCES SOUGHT SUBMITTALS: Sources Sought responses shall include the following: 1. Description of the valves, actuators, and gearboxes in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the stated characteristics. Including any brochures and/or cut sheets to confirm the item meets the requirements. 2. Standard manufacturer warranty with stated terms. 3. Vendors Unique Entity Identification (UEI). 4. Business size category. 5. Lead time for delivery (FOBD).
