Description: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has a requirement for EPKT 1901 Iridium 9575 or Equal Satellite Phone Kits for the New Mexico State Office. The required phones are necessary for emergency use in remote areas in New Mexico supporting the NRCS EWP. There is no cell coverage in the area of operation.� Satellite phones are required to preserve the health and safety of USDA employees working in remote areas and are vital to mission accomplishment and safety of Government employees.
