Description
This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. This is a synopsis of an upcoming solicitation, 140R1723Q0066, Elevator Repair in Yakima, Washington. The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region intends to solicit quotes for a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item contract. The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire services for the following: The Yakima Field Office elevator is a Hydraulic Dover Freight Elevator and services three floors. The elevator has two different doors. One side has freight doors and the other side has standard elevator doors. The standard doors work with no issues. During the annual maintenance, it was identified that the elevator in the Yakima Field Office had two discrepancies. The freight door sheave is rubbing metal on metal and the freight door elevator gate latch is not seating properly. Pursuant to FAR Part 12, 13 of the Federal Acquisition regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a written Request for Quotation (RFQ) through sam.gov. The Request for Quote will be issued as a 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290 � Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard of $22 Million. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by the second week in August, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. The anticipated closing date is the fourth week in August. The anticipated award date is the first week of September. Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to the closing date of the solicitation. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website at www.SAM.gov. All invoices for this procurement must be submitted through the Department of Treasury�s Internet Payment Platform (IPP).
