- Ammendment 4-Aug-23: added door dimensions to description of requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Security Items for the MS ANG Security Forces, prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W50S7K-23-R-0019 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with OPEN MARKET PRICING. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-02, effective 01-12-2023 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) Publication Notice (DPN) 20221216. It is the contractors' responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions.� This requirement is being advertised as a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332321 and the Small Business Size Standard is. 750 employees The Combat Readiness Training Center-Contracting Office, Gulfport, MS intends to issue a contract/purchase order for a contract is intended for the following service: Description of Requirements Roll-up Door Operators:� Shelby East Air to Ground Range (Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center) currently has 6 manual, chain hoist, roll-up Overhead Doors for our daily operation, grounds maintenance, and Vehicle Maintenance equipment.� Per the DAFMAN 91-203, powered roll-up doors equipped with dead man switches do not require crush sensors, and open and close motion shall be no faster than 9 inches per second. Currently when closing the door, if you don�t maintain control of the chain the door comes down faster than 9 inches per second. The roll-up door operators must meet the following requirements:� Specifications: Provide and install 6 commercial gear operators (208 - 230 volts single phase) �IAW NEC (National Electrical Code) 2023. Right hand front of hood mount with chain hoist backup Provide and install �� EMT, #10 thhn, and 30-amp safety disconnect from existing 4� x 4� square box to the new controls. � Contractor must provide all necessary tools and equipment for installation. Dimensions of the doors are 16ft wide by 16ft high All 6 doors are pre-wired for operators. Conduit needs to be ran down the side of each door for dead man switch. See pics in the attachments section. Please use the attached BID SHEET to provide quote. Delivery and install of all items must be made by October 30th, 2023. Award may be made without discussions.
