- THIS IS A SERVICE REQUIREMENT FOR: BUS SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR THE USS ZUMWALT DDG1000 (See attached Statement of Work) Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville FL, Bldg 110 Yorktown Ave, Jacksonville FL 32212-0097, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(a)(2)(i) only one responsible source. This is a Notice of Intent of the Contracting Officer to award this requirement directly to Hotard Coaches, Inc as an Unusual and Compelling Urgency IAW 6.302-2, When the Agency�s need for the supplies or services is of such and unusual and compelling urgency that the Government would be seriously injured unless the agency is permitted to limit the number of sources from which it solicits bids or proposals, this requirement is precluded from full and open competition. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this request falls under is 485510, with a Size Standard of $19 millions of dollars. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. This notice does not constitute a request for a proposal, request for quote or an invitation to bid. Period of Performance: 17 August 2023 - 06 September 2023 A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within two (2) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable services are available, and that this is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a Urgency sole source contract, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
