Description
THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is NOT a Request for Quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this Source Sought Synopsis is to seek out interested businesses capable of fulfilling this service requirement. The Regional Contracting Office Parris Island is performing market research to determine available sources that can provide buses and drivers for transportation services in support of Hurricane evacuation efforts from Parris Island, SC to Albany, GA. Vision Statement Provide a comprehensive and efficient evacuation service utilizing charter buses and qualified drivers to transport recruits safely and swiftly from and to Marine Corps Recruit Depot-Parris Island, SC (MCRDPI and Albany Georgia during hurricane season. 1 Introduction This contract establishes an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement for a base period of twelve months and four (4) twelve-month option periods to facilitate the transportation of recruits from and to MCRDPI and Albany GA during the hurricane season. 1.1 Scope The estimated requirement for one year (1) is 300 round trips based on approximately 7,500 passengers requiring transportation from and to MCRDPI and Albany GA. �The maximum number of trips/year is 360. The minimum buses and drivers needed will be 75. In addition, interested vendors shall provide the following information: 1. Is your business a small business under this NAICS code? 2.Refer to the attached draft Performance Work Statement and respond base on the ability to provide those technical requirements. 3. Are the services available under a GSA/FSS contract? If so, please provide the contract number. 4.�Cage code and DUNS number. Cage code and DUNS number must be registered in System for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov) 5.�Provide a contractor capabilities statement and electronic business card. Estimated Hurricane Season: 1 June through 30 November. Period of performance is dependant on anticipated Hurricane season dates. There is not a defined requirement yet and this Sources Sought is for market research and information purposes only. The government reserves the right to issue multiple contracts for this requirement.
