SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - This Sources Sought Notice is being issued as a Request for Information (RFI) by the United States National Park Service, Department of Interior, National Contracts Region, Washington D.C. This is a market survey seeking information from interested vendors and parties in industry in accordance with the Market Research requirements found in FAR PART 10. This is NOT a Solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ); or Invitation for Bids IFB, and there is no solicitation, drawings or specifications attached to this notification. Any request to the government for a solicitation will not receive a response. Statement of Need: One 15-Ton, Two Stage, Commercial Packaged, Heat Pump. NAICS CODE: 333415-Ventilation, Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Commercial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing. Place of Performance : Catoctin Mountain National Park 14707 Park Central Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788 Delivery: 90 Days After Receipt of Order This requirement will consider Brand Name or Equal to the Rheem Resolute Model # RHPH2T180ACG000BACA0A. Vendors that can provide �As Equal� equipment must meet or exceed the following Salient Characteristics of the Brand Name referenced in this sources sought announcement. Salient Characteristics 1. Unit is assembled, wired, charged with R-410A HFC refrigerant and run tested at the factory. 2. Scroll compressors with internal line break overload and high-pressure protection. 3. Two independent refrigerant circuits each with a scroll compressor provide two stage cooling/heating operation. 4. TXV refrigerant metering system on each circuit. 5. High pressure and low pressure/loss of charge protection. 6. Solid core liquid line filter drier on each circuit. 7. Cooling operation up to 125�F ambient 8. Forklift able base rails for easy handling and lifting. 9. Single point electrical connections. 10. Three phase 208/240v 11. Minimum CFM 6000 12. BTU 180000 15 tons. 13. Coil type louvered. 14. Each evaporator and condenser coil is constructed as a single slab to facilitate easy cleaning for maintaining high efficiencies. 15. Foil faced insulation encapsulated throughout entire unit minimizes airborne fibers from the air stream. 16. Hinged major access door with heavy-duty gasketing, 1/4 turn latches and door retainers. 17. Slide Out Indoor fan assembly for added service convenience. 18. Convertible airflow � vertical downflow or horizontal side flow. 19. High performance belt drive motor with variable pitch pulleys and quick adjust belt system. 20. Permanently lubricated evaporator, and condenser motors. 21. Condenser motors are internally protected, totally enclosed with shaft down design. 22. 2-inch filter standard with slide out design. 23. 24-volt control system with resettable circuit breakers. 24. Supplemental electric heat provides 100% efficient heating. 25. Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Potential Vendors Should Respond with the Following: 1. A positive statement describing their ability capability to provide the referenced equipment. 2. If Vendor is a GSA Schedule holder and can provide equipment of their Contract, please reference you GSA contract number. 3. NAICS Code and Business Size. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested parties. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested concern. If adequate interest is not received from by 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this action may or may not not be set-aside for small business firms. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research if a future follow-on solicitation is developed and released. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action based on the information received in response to this notice, and any future action, competition or set-aside decisions based on the information received in response is to this market survey is at the Governments discretion.
