- This is a Request for Information (RFI) synopsis. This RFI is for planning purposes only. This is NOT a request for Quotations or Proposals. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. In accordance with FAR 15.202 (e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not reimburse costs incurred by Respondent in response to this RFI or for participating in information exchange regarding details of the RFI. Responses may include data that the respondent does not want disclosed to the public for any purpose or used by the Government except for informational purposes. However, please note that the Government and its Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contractors will review the responses to this RFI. Synopsis The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center, Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate is seeking information from industry regarding potential systems and technologies that can satisfy a requirement for a dual/wide-band, short to medium range radar that can support Counterfire Target Acquisition (CTA) and Air Surveillance (AS) against Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (RAM), aircraft, and Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) threats while maintaining maneuverability and quick displacement for maximum survivability.� The details of specific technologies, development efforts, and technical requirements of this request contain CLASSIFIED information. Interested parties are required to be able to transmit classified data in accordance with U.S. Government data encryption requirements at the time of this RFI to receive the additional information. To receive a copy of the classified portion of the RFI, interested parties should contact usarmy.apg.devcom-c5isr.mbx.rti-industry-engagement@army.mil. These requests should include the subject line �Expeditionary Field Artillery Sensor (ExFAS) � Request for Additional Classified Information�, the company information (as listed below), and a classified email address and/or classified mailing address to properly receive the additional information.
