Description

The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Pennsylvania intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Triguard Security Inc for�services consist of removal and disposal (lawfully and off-site) of existing Intrusion Device System (IDS) and�IDS monitoring. The period of performance is 10 days for the inital installation and a period of one (1) year of monitoring after the Government�s acceptance of work, components, and equipment. The reason for this noncompetitive contract action is that Triguard Security Inc. has an existing contract with Pennsylvania's Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) for Electronic Security Systems services at Fort Indiantown Gap (FIG). The existing contract with the state is like in scope and requires IDS compatability. This will bring FIG into compliance with the UFC 4-021-02 secure facility mandate. Securing another vendor creates the potential risk of procuring a proprietary system and services that is not compatible with the existing system. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This contract action will be awarded following the issuance of written solicitation with an anticipated award date of August 16, 2023.
