- Description
- The department of the Army, MIIC FT. Eisenhower, intends to award a firm fixed price sole-source contract to Volexity, Inc., for the purchase of Volcano software professional licenses on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). The justification for this noncompetitive solicitation is due to Volexity, Inc, is the sole supplier. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541519 Other Computer Related Services with a size standard of 150 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued.
