Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This competion is set aside for small businesses (total small business set-aside competion).�The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) has a requirement for (1) Compact CO2 Incubator with Incorporated Shaker; Incorporated CO2 sensor;�Temperature control inside with accuracy about �0.1�C;�UV lights for inside sterilization;�Humidity controls;�Shaking platform with clamps option for flasks attachment;�Flexible speeds for shaking;�Unit with stackable design�for large-scale mammalian cell culture in support of protein production and structural biology. Please see the attached documents for full description of the required equipment.�
