- SOURCES SOUGHT� Subscription� 1.0 Description� This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or intent to issue a RFQ in the future. This Sources Sought does not commit the Government to contract for any service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought; therefore, all costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested party�s expense. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in a future RFQ, if one is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor www.SAM.gov for additional information pertaining to this requirement. � 2.0 Background� The 773d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron is seeking potential sources that can provide subscription� access for VOX and Immersive Reality (IR) books to Department of the Air Force Libraries across the globe for 12 months. �Immersive Reality (IR) books offer a combination of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) with print books offering titles in subjects at two different reading levels. Studying topics such as outer space, world geography, deadly animals, and dangerous professions. VOX books are audio books that are integrated into print books. The permanently attached VOX reader as part of the print book turns it into an all-in-one read-along, immersing users in the narrative. VOX books are hard cover with full audio recording of the book with no CD, batteries or other accessories required and include a speaker and an audio jack for group or individual use. Must provide access to a wide array of book/study topics, and there should be no limit to the number of titles or electronic checkouts.� ��� �1. Must be able to provide books for collection development in formats that include Vox and IR Book Must be able to provide material of new releases, current best sellers as well as a back catalog of older material ��� �2. Most be able to provide Immersive Reality (IR) and VOX audiobooks. ��� �3. IR Books should be a combine virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) designed for young learners. Topics should include outer space, world geography, deadly animals, and dangerous professions ��� �4. VOX books are audio books that live within print books. The permanently attached VOX reader to a print book into an all-in-one read-along, immersing users in the narrative. ��� �5. VOX books are hard cover with full audio recording of the book with no CD, batteries or other accessories required and include a speaker and an audio jack for group or individual use with an 18 month warranty. ��� �6. Must be able to enable up to 63 libraries to individually select and request items ��� �7. Must ship requested items up to 63 libraries around the world, shipping costs included in quote ��� �8. Must be able to offer ordering through an online ordering system ��� �9. Must be able to dedicate customer service representative to resolve all service issues 3.0 Requested Information Vendors responding shall specify that they can meet the requirement and provide detailed company information to show clear technical capability.
