- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. � This synopsis/solicitation 1305M223QNCNM0653 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05. ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������ The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Services (NOS) Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary has a requirement for Two (2) John Deere Marine Engines for the NOAA Research Vessel Shearwater (R6201).� Required Delivery Date is NLT August 31, 2024� � ���� The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Contract based on the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) offer.� This RFQ is 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 423830, Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers, with Size Standard of 500 employees. Please see Statement of Work/Requirement/Schedule for details. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any. A completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3.� � Address the ability of meeting the requirements per the Statement of Work/Schedule/Requirement. All questions must be submitted in writing to Wendy.Culbreth@noaa.gov by 4:00 P.M. Eastern on August 17, 2023. Telephonic requests will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 4:00 P.M. Eastern on August 21, 2023; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the lowest priced technically acceptable offer.� Offers must be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Wendy Culbreth at Wendy.Culbreth@noaa.gov.� The anticipated award date is on or about September 1, 2023. All interested parties wishing to submit a quote must be registered in the SAM database at the time of submission to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government does not accept responsibility for non-receipt of quotes. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to request and receive a confirmation of the quote receipt.
