- Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) Regional Contracting Office, New Orleans, LA 70114 hereby gives notice to intent to award a purchase order to AARDVARK 1935 Puddingstone DR La Verne, California 91750-5818, United States (CAGE: 0N995) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Provost Marshal�s Office (PMO) aboard MARFORRES, LA has a requirement to establish a contract to procure Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation (HEMI) devices. �Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing all the required equipment.� Therefore, the government intends to procure this equipment on a sole source basis from AARDVARK. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.� However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
