Special Notice Notice of Intent to Sole Source PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, firm fixed price, non-personal services contract with: Four Points Technology, L.L.C. 14900 Conference Center DR STE 100 Chantilly, Virginia 20151-3834, United States ueiSAM: H1KHJPJH9R51 This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. The VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Fayetteville, AR has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, transportation, parts, test equipment, tools, software and expertise necessary to maintain their current Biopoint Patient Identification Wristband System located at the Fayetteville, AR VA Medical Center. Based on market research and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized reseller, Four Points Technology LLC, is the only OEM authorized reseller with the qualifications and capability to perform the required services due to the proprietary nature of the system.   This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotations, or expressions of interest. Interested parties may convey their interest and capabilities by responding to this requirement, solely via email to Contract Specialist Brian Hendren, brian.hendren@va.gov. Interested parties must convey their organization s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition, including a rationale for why you should be considered. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. The government reserves the right to vet/verify any documentation submitted with the OEM to certify its authenticity. Responses are due no later than the solicitation response date/time/zone annotated above. Please reference 36C25623Q1691 in the subject line of your email response. Late responses will not be accepted. No telephone inquiries will be accepted nor will phone calls be returned. Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
