Description

The Office of Acquisition and Assistance (M/OAA) is located in the Management Bureau within the United States Agency for International Development. It consists of the Director's Office in addition to eight divisions: Evaluation, Policy, Contract Audit and Support, System Support Group, Contract Review Board, Transportation, Washington Operations and Foreign Operations. M/OAA manages and directs the Agency's acquisition and assistance (A&A) process, activities, systems, and commodity transportation. Other major responsibilities include governance and implementation of the unique acquisition and assistance policies, regulations, and standards of the Agency. This position provides a wide range of administrative management duties in support of the office and oversees the recruitment, retention, and onboarding of staff. The incumbent will present staffing recommendations and negotiate solutions to disputed recommendations. This position requires knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques in order to manage and coordinate a wide range of administrative services, as well as knowledge of and skill in applying a wide range of personnel and manpower principles and practices relating to classification, recruiting, staffing,
