- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12405B23Q0534 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04.� The USDA, ARS, in Baton Rouge, LA requires a Invitrogen NanoDrop OneC Spectrophotometer with WiFi and Qubit 4 Fluorometer with the following: 3 year extended warranty:�� 3 YR EXT WAR NDONE NDONEC INCL Specifications are as follows: The following requirements must be met: quantify and qualify DNA, RNA, and protein samples using the SAME unit and small footprint and using ONLY 1-2 �L of precious samples. Must provide full-spectral data for each sample. Additional cuvette options MUST be available. Must be able to identify nucleic acid contaminants such as RNA contamination in dsDNA samples and chemical contaminants such as phenol in RNA samples. Must include a QBIT 4 Flurometer. MUST INCLUDE A 3 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY The following item should be included: NANODROP ONEC PRODUCTIVITY KIT DELIVER TO: USDA, ARS, 1157 Ben Hur Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70820. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed priced contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the specifications that will be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
