Description: The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source order to Urban Institute researchers to perform statistical analyses using administrative tax data to create synthetic data based on a statistical representation of the distribution of the confidential tax data. . The authority permitting a Sole Source Acquisition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The period of performance will be 12-months from date of award. According to market research conducted, Urban Institute is the sole organization and provider of research to perform statistical analyses using administrative tax data while protecting the confidentiality of taxpayer information.
