- The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency�s Chief of Contracting Office (CISA/COCO) intends to procure on a sole source basis with Maryland Innovation and Security Institute (MISI) for the acquisition of a Hack the Building 2.0 Hospital Edition Competition Sponsorship. �The anticipated period of performance is twelve-months from the date of award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal and no solicitation will be issued. This is a�Notice of Intent to Sole Source�announcement only.� This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes.� Any responses to this announcement will be treated as information only.� No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information.� This notice does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter negotiations to award a contract.� Funds have been authorized or appropriated for this effort. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(i), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements may submit a capability statement that demonstrates clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and would not hinder the timeline or mission objectives of this effort to shall be considered by the agency.� The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 �Simplified Acquisition Procedures.�� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561920, Convention and Trade Show Organizers; Size standard is $20M. � Closing date for submitting a capability statement is August 23, 2023, at 4:00 pm Eastern Time.� All submissions should be submitted electronically to jacelyn.stanton@cisa.dhs.gov and jason.hawkins@cisa.dhs.gov.
