- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to make no award from this solicitation. This is a request for quote (RFQ), and the solicitation number is 36C25023Q1037. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2023-04, effective 06/02/2023. The associated NAICS Code is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is soliciting quotes from all sources to supply the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Center Columbus a TJF-Q190V duodenoscope scope to use during esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedures. Respondents to this solicitation must fully demonstrate their capability by supplying detailed quote information, along with any other documents necessary to support the requirements below. The requested must be compatible with our existing Evis Exera- III CV-190 and CVL 190 processors We believe only Olympus America and their authorized Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Distributor are the only vendors that can supply this requirement. Contract Title. Duodenovideoscope 3. Background. The Chalmers P. Wylie VA needs the TJF-Q190V duodenoscope scope to use during esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedures. This specialized scope providers improved maneuverability and visualization in the small bowel. Reprocessing technicians are charged with a critical responsibility to reprocess the TJF-Q190V duodenoscope correctly and thoroughly to prevent potential risks to the Veteran. The TJF single use distal cover is designed to provide better access for brushing, and flushing and is destroyed during removal, preventing unintended reuse. Distal-end flushing adaptor is designed to direct flushing during manual reprocessing. Currently, the GI department have one TJF scope, so an additional TJF scope will help ensure we always have one available if the first one has already been used for the day. This will allow no delay of care for our Veterans at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA. 4. Scope. The Chalmers P. Wylie VA surgery/GI department is proposing to purchase one additional the TJF-Q190V duodenoscope scope. GI department has one TJF scope, so an additional TJF scope will help ensure we always have one available if the first one has already been used for the day. The TJF scope is needed to accommodate the needs of the Veterans in the GI department, so they receive the best care, along with the proper and safest reprocessing features available. 5. Specific Tasks. As the contractor deems necessary for Acquisition of surgical Deliverables: Item #TJF-Q190V- Duodenovideoscope 6. Performance Monitoring The TJF-Q190V duodenoscope scope will be inspected by HTM and SPS departments upon arrival to facility. Proper protocol as per outlined by scope specifications will be followed. 7. Security Requirements Zero Patient data will be used with this product 8.
