Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk intends to acquire moving/relocation services in support of the Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) Histories and Archives Division (HAD). These services are primarily for comprehensive move planning and mapping of materials as well as the packing, moving, unpacking, and shelving of all materials in the Top Secret Operational Archives. The placement of a Performance-Based, Firm Fixed-Price type contract is anticipated for a one year period of performance, beginning on 25 September 2023. The applicable NAICS code is 484210 and the FSC is V003.� The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (IRON MOUNTAIN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT LLC.) under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Small Business office has reviewed this market research and concurs with the acquisition strategy identified herein. Challengers may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by sending challenges to Cody Witz at cody.s.witz.civ@us.navy.mil. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all challenges to this sole source determination by the specified response date will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
