- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with: Metrex Research LLC, d/b/a Orascoptic 6650 Ronald Reagan Avenue Madison, WI 53704 UEI SAM: EM7QQJKP9RE1 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to purchase the Orascoptic Brand Name products listed below for the West Haven VAMC, CT. Items to be delivered to 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516-2770. It has been determined through initial Market Research that only 1 (one) responsible source can provide the required Brand Name equipment as identified below, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements . Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS 339114. The size standard is 750 employees.
