Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that a sole source contract action, below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT) is intended to be awarded to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern, McChrystal Group LLC, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1. This sole source contract award shall be made on or after August 18th, 2023. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, United States Border Patrol; requires a cohesive, whole-of-Government approach to addressing the opioid crisis (specifically fentanyl). To establish an effective counter-fentanyl ecosystem that is effective and sustainable requires collaboration of a grand scale by many governments law enforcement, investigative, and intelligence entities. This effort represents the first major step in building that ecosystem. This effort includes the planning and execution (including facilitation with unique subject matter expertise) of a roundtable discussion amongst Government agencies with a role in combatting the fentanyl supply chain and documenting agreements and resulting courses of action. Via this notice, it has been determined, and is in the Government�s sole discretion not to compete this contract action. This constitutes as the synopsis for the requirement.
