- DESCRIPTION: The North Florida/South Georgia (NF/SG) Veterans Healthcare System, Gainesville VAMC, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL, 32608 intends to award on a Sole Source basis a service contract for Recovery- Oriented Cognitive Therapy Training. The proposed source is Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK: To provide services for Recovery- Oriented Cognitive Therapy Training, located at the NF/SG VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. CT-R focuses on improving the recovery, health, and resilience of clients with serious mental illness. The following training elements will assist in meeting these goals: focus groups, workshop sessions, consultation sessions, and train-the-trainer. Through participation in this program, mental health professionals will gain skills and knowledge to help them deliver effective Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy to Veterans with severe mental illness. NF/SG VHS will provide staff with computer monitors and space to attend the virtual workshops (No PHI/PII storage required). TERM: This will be a firm fixed price contract for one base year. The base year shall begin September 29, 2023 through September 30, 2024. REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall provide services as outlined below: The services to be performed by the vendor will consist of the following: Contractor is responsible for providing presentation materials. Contractor shall not obtain or disclose PHI/PII. Contractor must be able to provide training without the need of collecting PHI/PII. Contractor must have the ability to electronically provide any requisite training materials to NF/SG VHS EBP coordinator and CRRSL Education Committee Chairperson 2 weeks in advance of the Services related to such Materials. NF/SG VHS EBP coordinator and CRRSL Education Committee Chairperson are responsible for reproduction and distribution of the materials to participants. Any materials provided (including, without limitation, PowerPoint presentations/handouts) are to be made available to participants ONLY in hard copy. Electronic reproduction and/or distribution of training material is prohibited. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. The proposed NAICS 611430 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $15 million. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature to the Contracting Officer no later than 08/22/2023 at 4:30PM EST. Responses should be sent to yolanda.glover@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement will be solely up to the government.
