- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT AND AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT: The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center, Shared Services Procurement Division intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Werres Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) � Raymond Corporation�s only authorized service provider for Maryland, Virginia, and DC.� Raymond Forklift Trucks �are maintained and updated through the OEM�s proprietary software known as Forklift Firmware.� �The statutory authority for this acquisition is 41 U.S.C 1901(c), as implemented in FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1). In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), the services listed below are available from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310 with a size standard of $12.5M. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J039. The small business set aside has been dissolved. This requirement is unrestricted. Preventative Maintenance Services for twelve (12) Raymond Forklift Trucks are for a base plus four years, to commence 7 September 2023. Solicitation number 70Z04023QALDV0001 is assigned.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation to Carol.L.Dreszer@uscg.mil with 70Z03823QALDV0001 in the subject line which will be considered by the agency if received no later than 1:00 P.M., (EST) on August 22, 2023. �A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is based on responses to Sources Sought Notice posted on December 30, 2022. This notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made upon determination of fair and reasonable pricing.
