- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit and award a contract for installation component configuration management, logistics support, and provisioning functions of the Reviewing Yard for CVN 68 Class Steam and Electric Plant components and systems.� The contemplated contract includes the procurement of logistic technical data to support the maintenance of the CVN 68 class Steam Plant Manuals, as well as life cycle logistics, technical engineering support, and ship alteration packages to support the CVN 68 Class Aircraft Carrier integrated propulsion plant.� Solicitation N00024-23-R-2122 will be issued to Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607 on a sole source basis. �Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Huntington Ingalls Incorporated directly. This notice is for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. Disclaimer:� The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If a competitive solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via SAM.GOV, and interested parties must comply with that announcement. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract
