- Veteran Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice to identify companies that have the resources and capabilities to remove and replace flooring at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center (VAMC). Description of Work: 1.0 Scope of Work: 1. The Louis A. John VAMC approximately 132sq ft of floor to be removed from the Scope Processing Room 3B133. The flooring in the room 3B133 is being replaced to have wall to wall coverage. 2. The contractor will then install welded seam sheet flooring (WSF) with heat welded seams, and integral cove base. 3. Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the 3B133 flooring replacement per this scope of work. 4. Any and all site investigation, field verification, testing and research necessary to provide a fully functional flooring replacement shall be considered part of this scope 2.0 GENERAL: 1. Contractor discussion with the VA Medical Center personnel concerning requirements will be arranged and participated in by appropriate Project Chief and VAMC COR and other Services in review of project scope, review comments, etc. 3.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS: 1. Construction work shall occur during normal business hours of 7:00am 5:00pm Monday through Friday. No work on Federal Holidays unless approved by VA project manager. The following are designated Federal Holidays: New Year s Day, Martin Luther King s Birthday, President s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is observed; and when a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday is observed. Any other day so designated by the President shall be considered a holiday as well. 2. Construction shall not interrupt daily operations of VA Medical Center including noise, utility shutdowns, debris removal and all construction related activities. Remove and dispose of all debris in accordance with all applicable environmental/ disposal regulations. Coordinate all activities with VA project manager. Technical Qualifications: Personnel should be qualified to remove and replace flooring in a medical setting. Certification should be in line with the latest requirements outlined by the VA. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from companies that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, SAM Unique ID, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing subject services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. GSA contract number, if your company has one, that includes a RSO line item and coverage includes the West Virginia geographical area. 4. Ballpark cost estimate of what the VAMC could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above per year. Responses must be submitted by 16:00 PM (EST) August 22, 2023. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to timothy.russell@va.gov. This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.).
