- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for Kashiyama NeoDry products for Air Cooled Multi Roots Dry Pump. AFRL/RVKY at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources to The AIM program by allowing the plasma chemistry lab to perform experimental plasma chemistry.� The Air Cooled Multi Roots Dry Pump will be used to create the experimental conditions required for measuring reaction kinetics and products of plasma chemistry processes as they relate to the ionosphere, re-entry, combustion, solar fuels, and high energy materials. Specifically, the dry pumps will be used to create initial low pressure conditions from atmospheric pressure.� This is a brand name or equal to action for Kashiyama NeoDry products.Brand name or equal to: NeoDry 7E-1, 3.9 CFM 37 mTorr 120 VAC 60 Hz, quantity 2. NeoDry 15E-1, 115 VAC, 8.8 CFM�7.5mTorr, quantity 1. NeoDry 36E-1, 115 Vac, 21.2 CFM 7.5mTorr, quantity 3. NDPC12AWGSP-10, Powercable single Phase -�110VAC 12 AWG for NeoDry-1. Models 7, 15, 30, 36. Nominal 10 ft Length, quantity 2. NDPC14AWGSP-10, Power Cable Single�Phase - 200 VAC: 14 AWG for NeoDry-2. Models 15-30-26-60-100. Nominal 10 ft length, quantity 4. AFRL/RVKY anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 333912, size standard 1,000.� 2. INSTRUCTIONS: All businesses capable of providing Kashiyama NeoDry products for Air Cooled Multi Roots Dry Pump, are invited to respond electronically. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 333912, size standard 1,000. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision.
