- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Project Title: Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services on six (6) PEAK Scientific Nitrogen Generators. Announcement No: FDA-23-1266656 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to PEAK SCIENTIFIC INC. for Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services on six (6) PEAK Scientific Nitrogen Generators.� The total estimated value is less than $31K. This sole source contracting action is a notice pursuant to FAR 5.203(a) for the requirement based on the application of FAR 6.302-1.� This hereby constitutes a synopsis of this requirement. This is an award under NAICS Code 334516. PEAK SCIENTIFIC INC. is the sole-source service provider for Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services on six (6) PEAK Scientific Nitrogen Generators. PEAK generators are used on the mass spectrometry systems that are used for regulatory analyses.� The contractor is the only company capable of performing the preventative maintenance and repair services on these systems and acquire OEM parts for these systems.� NYLHAF requires services from an Original Equipment Manufacturer trained technician capable of providing service support plans that cover routine maintenance and repair of these two Nitrogen Generators.� Peak Scientific is the sole source provide for all services agreements for all Peak Scientific Generators located within the NYLHAF laboratory.� It was also determined that Peak Scientific does not have authorized resellers for services for this equipment. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
