Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center � Pacific requires the procurement of two (2) SonTek Castaway CTD Instruments. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-01831 is issued as a firm, fixed-price, commercial request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334511, Power Supplies � Search Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical Systems. This is a Brand Name requirement solicitation set aside exclusively for small businesses with a business size limit of 1,350 employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 0001:������ Purchase Castaway CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth) instruments to support launch survey operations. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:� The NOAA ship Thomas Jefferson requires two (2) SonTek Castaway CTD instruments. See Statement of Need for additional details and specifications. � (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of performance and acceptance.
