Description: Mouse head-fixation with locomotor navigation system order.� NIDA IRP seeks to conduct behavioral experiments while calcium signals, indicating neuronal activities, from the mouse brain are being recorded. To understand behavioral functions of neural activity, we need a behavioral device that measures conditional (operant and Pavlovian) behavioral responses and neural activities from the same subject at the same time. The Mobile Home Cage must be able to produce behavioral responses while being head-fixed for the two-photon calcium-imaging recording.
