Description

To ensure the continuation of software license services, Aviation Logistics Environment (ALE) Naval Air Training and Experimental Command (NATEC) HQ Technical Data Package (TDP) Team and Aviation Product Life Cycle Management (AvPLM) Digital Thread program requires CREO Design Advanced Plus for Model Based Definition (MBD) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). �CREO Design Advanced Plus helps establish and test the methodology for converting native Computer Aided Design (CAD) models to 3Di viewable. OEMs are not constrained to any one modeling software, making it necessary to explore multiple CAD software packages. CREO Design Advanced Plus is a common CAD software package used by OEMs and includes the geometric dimensioning, tolerance analysis, and product validation for a complete MBD. Per ANSI Y14.47, the industry-accepted standard for Model Organization is MBD and is the foundation for the Model Based Enterprise (MBE), which NAVAIR and Industry are aiming to align. The anticipated period of performance for ALE (NATEC) will commence on 14 September 2023 through 13 September 2026 and AvPLM Digital Thread 24 September 2023 to 23 September 2026.� � This Special notice is not a request for competitive proposals and does not commit the�Government to award a contract as a result of this announcement. A determination by the Government�not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the�discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the�purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The information provided�herein is for informational purposes only. These requirements are subject to change based on the�Government's need.
