- Contractor shall be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, tools,equipment, and other incidental items (unless otherwise noted) necessary for theremoval of 15 existing power poles and the purchase and reinstallation/replacementof a total of 15 new power poles, with the appropriate cross arms, insulators,guywires, and other needed accessories. Extra guy wires will be installed to secureentire electrical service. All installation will be in accordance with state and localrequirements and specifications. Power poles, accessories, disconnect, andtransformer shall be new and meet current NESC industry standards. Contractorshall also be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, andother incidental items (unless otherwise noted) necessary for the clearing of existingelectrical service right of way by tree removal and tree trimming.These items have been divided into a BASE with TWO OPTIONS, and will be performed atthe Tenkiller Project Office location:BASE - Contractor will remove 12 existing power poles. Contractor will purchaseand install 12 new power poles, with all new associated cross-arms, cutouts, fuses,accessories, guy wires, anchors, etc. Extra guy wires will be installed to secureentire electrical service.? OPTION 1 - Contractor will clear approximately 1,800 linear feet of existing rightof way to the appropriate width. This work will include tree removal and treetrimming. Right of way width should be to where a fallen tree or limb will notdisrupt electric power service. Trees that are removed will be to ground level.? OPTION 2 - Contractor will remove 3 existing power poles. Contractor willpurchase and install 3 new power poles, and all associated cross-arms, cutouts, fuses,accessories, guy wires, anchors, etc., purchase and install 1 new electricaldisconnect with breaker and riser with weather head, and purchase and install 1 polemount pot type transformer with appropriate voltage size.
