Description

UPDATE:�Solicitation due date is changed to August 25, 2023 at 5:00pm EST. Department of Labor General Decision Number is updated to PA20230004 11AUG2023. Attachment 2 is updated per Section J. Attachments 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 are added per Section J. The project would consist of the replacement of approximately 180 feet each of underground steam pipe (3� NPS) and condensate pipe (1-1/2� NPS) from the boiler house to the Mechanical Services Building (MSB). The work required would include all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, supervision, testing, and incidentals needed to complete excavation, removal, replacement, insulation, and backfilling for the pipes and accouterments. Contractor would be responsible for seeding the disturbed grassed area over the excavated area. The contractor would conduct utility location by a qualified service prior to performing any excavation. An organized site visit has been scheduled for: Date: August 10, 2023 Time: 9:00am EST Participants will meet at the Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC), located at 600 East Mermaid Lane, Wyndmoor, PA 19038. In order to attend a site visit, you MUST pre-register. Please email neil.goldberg@usda.gov and cc roger.ammons@usda.gov with the company name and name(s) of the person visiting the site. Deadline for submission of RFIs for this solicitation is 5:00pm (EST) on August 15, 2023.
