Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and VAAR 819.70/38 U.S.C. 8127-8128 on behalf of the Louisville VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L1 Enterprise Incorporated (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) located at 618 West Patrick St, Frederick MD 21701. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that L1 Enterprise is the only responsible source that can provide the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Karl Storz. The equipment for this requirement is as follows: 8404ZXK C-MAC MONITOR FOR CMOS ENDOSCOPES AND C-MAC VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPES 2 8403X C-MAC CONNECTION CABLE, LENGTH: 200CM 2 9700VIP C-MAC VIDEO INTUBATION PLATFORM CART W/ 2 STORAGE BINS AND FLEXIBLE SCOPE HOLDER 2 8404HX C-MAC VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPE D-BLADE FOR ADULTS FOR DIFFICULT INTUBATION 4 8404BXC C-MAC VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPE MAC #4, WITH MACINTOSH LARYNGOSCOPE BLADE, SIZE 4 4 8404AXC C-MAC VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPE MAC #3, WITH MACINTOSH LARYNGOSCOPE BLADE, SIZE 3 4 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received by the deadline specified in this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203, will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice are due on or before 08/24/2023 by 10:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST) by email to delaney.dickey@va.gov.
