- Description
- The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, to PETNET Solutions Inc (PETNET), 810 Innovation Dr, Knoxville, Tennessee 37932-2562, for the provision all services, materials, and equipment necessary to provide required radiopharmaceuticals to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA (NMCP). The period of performance is 01 October 2023 through 30 September 2023 with 4 (four) 12-month option periods. PETNET will provide drop shipment Radiological Pharmaceuticals on an as-needed basis. Contract is to provide delivery and transportation of radioactive materials onto the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) compound, conforming to all policies of the NMCP Radiation Safety Committee and all applicable National Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations governing transportation and handling of radioactive materials. Required radiological pharmaceuticals include: Tauvid, Amyvid, and Cerianna.� Once the medicine is delivered to NMCP, the Radiation Safety Officer will inspect the items for the proper dose, medication and labeling. The delivery person is escorted to the lab by the Radiation Safety officer who oversees the proper handling of prepping the dose to the patient. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source contract. Capability statements are due by 1:00 PM Local Time, 6 September 2023.
