Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground - Natick Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Solider Center (DEVCOM-SC), intends to award on a sole source basis under FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency; a Firm Fixed Price contract to NTS Technical Systems, LLC.� This contract will be for the storage and decommissioning of ammunition that is currently stored at NTS Technical Systems, LLC�s facility.� This contract is a sole source due to the fact that the ammunition was not properly documented at the time that it was acquired by NTS.� Due to the lack of documentation provided at the time the ammunition was supplied, NTS is the only company that can store the ammunition and de-commission the ammunition.� The ammunition cannot be transported to any other facility as the required Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms documentation is not current. Natick Contracting Division anticipates awarding this contract to NTS Technical Systems, LLC, 4603B Compass Point Road, Belcamp, MD, 21017, United States. This is not a request for quotes. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332992.
