Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Formerra, LLC, located at 1250 Windham Pkwy, Romeoville, IL� 60446-1673, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1).� The requirement is for high vicosity DuPont Nylon 6,6, Type Zytel 42A-NC. This is for the acquisition of polymer needed to produce government furnished materials to be supplied to other government agencies. Due to the sensitivity of the project, changes to the product without extensive qualification through relevant stakeholder agencies cannot happen. Formerra, LLC is the only supplier of Nylon 6/6 Zytel 42a to North American entities and businesses, therefore the Distinctive Material Solutions Team (DMST) can only contract with Formerra, LLC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325211 and the size standard is 1250 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by sending responses regarding this requirement to the Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground CCAP-SCN, Natick Contracting Division via email ONLY to meri.l.jones.civ@army.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. EST 7 September 2023. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to the Notice.� All costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
