- The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 08 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain a patient discharge instructions software system. The software creates patient healthcare information which can be printed and provided to patients in either the English or Spanish language at a 5th or 6th grade literacy level. The patient healthcare information will be automatically generated by orders from authorized users and a note detailing the provided education will be automatically generated in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for James A Haley VA Hospital. Period of performance: 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2024 Basic description of the requirement: The James A. Haley VA Medical Center wishes to purchase the installation and implementation of enterprise unlimited seat licenses are required for all Emergency Departments OIT Workstations. Following the software deployment, ongoing enterprise unlimited seat licenses, service, and user technical support is required for four (4) additional option years. Place of Performance: James A. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by August 31, 2023, 10:00 EASTERN TIME (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
