Description
Fayetteville, Arkansas VAMC Station# 564, Logistics Service is requesting the purchase of a Climate Controlled Portable Office building L20 X W25 X H12. This equipment is required to ensure the safety of the material handlers and temperature sensitive materials for the Lab and Pharmacy, during the summer months when temperatures can reach up to 110-degrees Fahrenheit inside 1. Our understanding is that the portable building is a premade structure: 1. Is this an actual premade portable building or a build in place structure? Premade is 6 mo. at least to be fabricated and delivered. The manufacturers dont offer 12H walls. We believe the standard height is 9. The scope calls for the walls to be 3 thick. The manufactured walls come 2 thick. This is incorrect, the portable building is to be constructed either with leaves that fold in on each other and can be brought into a facility in pieces and then constructed on site. We cannot accommodate a pre-made structure as our doors will not accommodate for this. The manufacturers that we spoke to and provided us with quotes and diagrams had both 12 high wall and 3 thick walls as well. 2. If it is to be premade, how are you planning to get it into the building? It wont fit through the doors currently on the building. The building is to be built on site using materials that were delivered prior to the construction start date. Question: Are you needing new office buildings or would a previously used office suffice ? If we can discuss budget i can send over a spreadsheet with photos of current offers. Look forward to hearing from you, enjoy your weekend . Answer: We are looking for a new office space to be constructed inside of the warehouse, I do not believe a previously used office space will suffice as it will need to be deconstructed to be delivered to our facility
