- *AMENDMENT 0001* Amendment 0001 is being issued to provide Government answers to questions received from Industry, update the Performance Work Statement, and extend the deadline for receipt of qutoes from 23 August 2023 at 10:00 AM Central Time to 28 August 2023 at 10:00 AM Central Time.� PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Custodial Services at Martins Fork Lake. This requirement will require the Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, tool, materials, and supplies necessary to perfrom custodial services at the Martins Fork Lake Resoruce Management Complex as specified in the Performance Work Statement.� ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base Contract Year of 01 September 2023 to 31 August 2024 with the option for four (4) one (1) year option periods QUESTIONS: Questions must be submitted to Andrew Roth at andrew.r.roth@usace.army.mil by August 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM Central Time.� QUOTES DUE DATE: Quotes are due No Later Than 10:00 AM Central Time 23 August 2023 and must be submitted to Andrew Roth via email at andrew.r.roth@usace.army.mil.� SITE VISIT: No formal site visit is scheduled for this solicitation. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselvees regarding all general and local conditions taht may affect the cost of contract performance. Requests for site visit may be arranged by contacting the Resource Management Office at Martins Fork Lake using the contact information provided in the Solicitation.� SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM):�Offerors must be successfully registered (and active) in SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award. Offerors must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their proposal in order to receive a Government contract award. Offerors should also have the EFT information updated on their SAM account - all financial information is ONLY shared with financial systems and cannot be accessed by any other entity. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective March 22, 2018, new entities that are registering in SAM must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity�s Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration. Effective April 27, 2018, entities that are updating or renewing their existing SAM registrations must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity�s Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration, before the registration is activated. The new registration may now take several days to become active depending on (1) the information provided passing existing validations and (2) the entity�s successful delivery of the required notarized letter.� Contractors who are new to the SAM registration process are highly encouraged to begin registering as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays in future contract awards. Remember, there is no cost to use SAM. To find out additional information about the changes of the SAM registration process, contractors should visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) link located at the top of the SAM homepage (www.sam.gov). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the SAM.gov.
