- CIVIL WORK: Repair concrete pads according to the replacement of all air-cooled condensing units (CUs) for the Mechanical Work. Restore the ground according to replacement of underground piping between the CUs and mechanical room Nos. 143 and B01. See the as-built drawings sheet number M018. ARCHITECTURAL WORK: Repair concrete pads according to the replacement of all air handling units (AHUs) and return fans (RFs) for the Mechanical Work. Remove existing wall paint coatings and Repaint Latex, 2-coat (MPI approved) of the mechanical room No. B01 including surface preparation. See the as-built drawings sheet number A001 for area. Repaint Epoxy, 2-coat for the floor of the mechanical room No. B01 including surface preparation. See the as-built drawings sheet number A001 for area. Install new rain shields canopy on the outside wall of the mechanical room No. B01 entrance. See the as- built drawings sheet number A012 for area. MECHANICAL WORK: Replace existing all air-cooled condensing units (CUs) including all associate refrigerant piping, piping distribution systems (all related components including insulation, balancing and control valves, air vents, fittings, flexibles, switches, gauges, sensors, hangers, supports, tanks and etc.), controls (all related components including control works with devices), and all necessary items in the outside yard and the mechanical room Nos. 143 and B01 with new ones. See the as-built drawings sheet numbers M002, M005 thru 008, M018, and M019. Provide four threaded taps (for lifting) at the top of the condensing unit. Replace existing all air handling units (AHUs) including air distribution system (all related components including ducts, insulations, supports, outside air intake louvers, all dampers, thermostats, smoke detectors, goosenecks, temperature/pressure sensors), controls (all kinds of components including control works with devices), connected hot water piping, and all necessary items in the mechanical room Nos. 143 and B01 with new ones. See the as-built drawings sheet numbers M002, M005 thru 008, M018 and M019. The existing economizer cycle for AHUs� sequence of operation shall be removed IAW UFC 3-410-01, Para 3-6.3, airside economizers are prohibited for Air Force projects within this humid climate zone. The associate all room night set back thermostats shall be replaced and programmable thermostats. Note: The existing hot water supply/return piping from the heating boilers in the mechanical rooms shall continually keep the service for the AHUs and the hydronic heating equipment in the building. Replace existing all return fans (RFs) including air distribution system (all related components including ducts, insulations, supports, all dampers, thermostats, temperature/pressure sensors), controls (all related components including control works with devices), and all necessary items in the mechanical room Nos. 143 and B01 with new ones. See the as-built drawings sheet numbers M002, M005 thru 008, M018, and M019. Replace existing exhaust fans No. 15 including air distribution system (all related components including ducts, insulations, supports, outside air intake louvers, all dampers, thermostats, temperature/pressure sensors), controls (all related components including control works with devices), and all necessary items in the mechanical room No. 143 new ones. See the as-built drawings sheet numbers M002, M004, M018, and M019. Replace existing unit heaters (UHs) including piping and associate accessories in the mechanical room Nos. 143 and B01 with new ones. See the as-built drawings sheet numbers M002, M004, M018 and M019. All control systems and equipment to be installed shall be a BACnet protocol supported. Newly installed HVAC systems shall be completely interlocked and operated with existing systems under original design conditions such as balancing plan & schedule, flow/control diagram, sequence of control/operation, and general note. Remove and reinstall the sprinkler head and line in the project area shall be considered. Associate civil, architectural and electrical work for mechanical replacement work shall be included. ELECTRICAL WORK: Replace existing panel board 4PA, 4PB, 2PA and 2PB in Mech. Room No.143 and No.B01 with new ones as shown the as-built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Replace existing Dry Transformers (3KVA, 480V-240/120V, NEMA1 Enclose) in Mech. Room No.143 and No.B01 with new ones wires, junction boxes, conduits, fittings and accessories from new panel as shown the as-built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Replace existing safety switches (NEMA 4X Enclose), wires, junction boxes, conduits, fittings and accessories from new panel �4PA� and �4PB� for new air-cooled condensing units (ACCUs) as shown the as- built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Replace existing magnetic motor starters (NEMA 1 Enclose, A-O-H), wires, junction boxes, conduits, fittings and accessories from new panel �4PA� and �4PB� for new air handling units (AHUs) as shown the as- built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Replace existing magnetic motor starters (NEMA 1 Enclose, A-O-H), wires, junction boxes, conduits, fittings and accessories from new panel �4PA� and �4PB� for new return fans (RFs) as shown the as-built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Replace existing manual motor starter (NEMA 1 Enclose, A-O-H), wires, junction boxes, conduits, fittings and accessories from new panel �2PA� for new exhaust fan No. 15 as shown the as-built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Replace existing manual motor starters (NEMA 1 Enclose), wires, junction boxes, conduits, fittings and accessories from new panel �2PA� and �2PB� for new unit heaters (UHs) as shown the as-built drawings sheet numbers E015 and E020. Electrical equipment shall be resized to meet new Mech. Items and provide control devices to meet mechanical sequence of operation. Support to work for associate the mechanical equipment replacement. Remove and reinstall all electrical equipment associated with Architectural work and Mechanical work. Maintain and protect the existing electrical system including fire alarm system and communication system.
