- In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Sun Nuclear, located at 3275 Suntree Blvd, Melbourne, FL., 32940: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE CLIN 0001 DBMQM-P Sun Nuclear Machine Quality Management Package Solid Water HE Kit for IC PROFILER 1 EA The Radiation Oncology Department at Oklahoma City VA Health Care System proposes to enter into a firm-fixed price contract for the Sun Nuclear Solid Water HE Kit for IC PROFILER, used in conjunction with Daily Beam QA to support rotational and FFF beams, shape constancy, and field size shift for FFF beams. The Sun Nuclear product family is only compatible with other products and accessories within the same family of radiation devices due to the proprietary software. Sun Nuclear Corporation owns the proprietary copyrights and is the sole source provider of Sun Nuclear software and the products it manufactures. Sun Nuclear Corporation is the only company that can provide repairs, software license renewal, phone and web-based support, service loaners, and regular updates to the Sun Nuclear products. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334519 and the Business Size Standard is 600 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, August 29th, 2023. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to Lindsey.Zwaagstra@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
