- The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to solicit a Small Business set-aside for Calamus Dual 3D Obturation (Brand Name or Equal) for Milo C. Huempfner Green Bay Health Care Green Bay, WI. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19. Contract will be firm fixed price and the corresponding NAICS Code 339114. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small businesses. Please see Request for Quote (RFQ) document 36C25223Q0907 for details in the near future. This RFQ will be posted on or around Thursday, August 24, 2023. Offers will be due no later than 15:00. Local Time on Thursday, August 31, 2023. General Requirements: Brand Name Or Equal Brand Name: Item Description Qty Unit CALDUAL Calamus Dual 3D Obturation Sys 6 EA. Or Equal: Salient points: System must be an integrated device designed for warm 3D vertical obturation. System must include handpieces that are used for both down pack (Pack) and backfill (Flow) techniques to obturate the FboNotice canal system. Down Pack (Pack) handpiece must be capable of heating electric heat pluggers for warming and softening gutta-percha master cones and searing off gutta-percha cones. Must have a temperature range of at least 100 400 degrees Celsius. Must have a volume range of at least 0 100% Handpiece should have a maximum continuous heating time of 10 seconds for temperatures above 200 degrees Celsius and 15 seconds for temperatures at or below 200 degrees Celsius. Backfill (Flow) handpiece must be capable of heating and extruding gutta-percha into the FboNotice canal system. Must have a temperature range of at least 160 200 degrees Celsius. Must have a flow rate flow of at least 20% - 100%. Obturation system must include the above handpieces combined as a single dual kit unit. Console interface should include the following: Numerical LED display Up/Down arrows LED light indicating whether Pack Side or Flow Side is in use. Pack temperature button Pack tone volume button Thermal Response Tip button Flow Temperature button Flow rate button Flow return button Minimum of two (2) preset buttons Pack and Flow handpiece connectors System should also include the following: Ten (10) 20-gauge gutta-percha cartridges Ten (10) 23-gauge gutta-percha cartridges Three (3) electric heat pluggers One (1) cartridge nut One (1) cartridge brush One (1) bending tool and one (1) heat shield Vendor shall provide comprehensive instruction manual and reference card.
