- Description
- Salient features for the Stryker S3 Med/Surg Bed Stryker S3 Med/Surg Bed Features: Chaperone Bed Exit System: Patient monitoring system which utilizes the specific patient s center of gravity to track position in three zones, based on the individual patient s fall risk. iBed Awareness Bed Monitoring System: Monitors specific bed positions - bed exit alarm status (with a reminder to reset the bed alarm if it is disengaged), 30 Degree head of bed, side rail position, low bed height, and brake settings. System is fully customizable based on facility protocols and tells caregivers at the bedside what has been compromised when the bed alerts. Head of Bed 30 Degree Button / Lockout: Increases accuracy of set protocol and gives the ability to move the head of bed and lock it out at 30 degrees. Backsmart/Intermediate Siderail Position: 3 position siderails (full up, full down, and intermediate) provide two sturdy patient grip points and allow for a safe and easy way for patients to get in and out of bed. This also helps to reduce the need for boosting / repositioning the patient upon bed entry (safe patient handling initiative). Retractable Frame StayPut Technology: Retractable frame keeps patient in direct correlation to bedside belongings reducing the risk of falls, while also reducing friction and shear of patients skin from being pushed to foot end when head of bed is raised. Frame keeps patient in place when the head of bed is articulated, reducing the need for caregivers to have to boost and lift them (safe patient handling initiative). Integrated Footboard Pump Holder and Accessory Outlets: Pump rack is integrated into the footboard of the bed (for ancillary equipment), and 110V accessory outlets are located on the foot-end of the bed, away from patient egress points. Centrally Located Brake Pedal: 15 wide brake pedal is located at the center of the bed, accessible with the bed height or siderails in any position. One Touch / Any Position Scale with Weight History: The One Touch Scale allows the patient to be weighed in any position in the bed without having to be moved or turned for an accurate and recordable weight. The One Touch Scale allows the caregiver to get an accurate* weight with the push of a button, they do not have to bend down to record the weight or move the patient. The scale will measure and save up to 10 weights in the bed. Adjustable Headboard Height: When the bed height is adjusted, the headboard height adjusts up and down as well. This allows the bed to accommodate a safe / ergonomic height for patient transport (safe patient handling initiative). Also allows bed to accommodate 4-post traction setup without additional adapters / equipment. Wireless Connectivity: By providing better bedside data and greater flexibility to connect, you may improve care efficiencies to help prevent adverse events. Our open architecture approach can help reduce your total cost of ownership and gives you the freedom to build a custom solution. The Connected Hospital platform helps provide: Better bedside data Greater flexibility Lower total cost of ownership
