Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 6.302-1(c), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and brand name descriptions. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 has a requirement to procure one (1) Raptor Scientific Model KSR330-60 Center of Gravity and Moment of Inertia Measurement System to include Spare Parts Kit and YST Weight Platform. The contract shall include shipping, onsite installation, and operator training. In addition, a 12-month option period for maintenance shall also be included. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Raptor Scientific (Space Electronics LLC), Physical Properties Systems, 81 Fuller Way, Berlin, Connecticut 06037. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and the Business Size Standard is a maximum of 1,000 employees. All responses received within 30 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in writing no later than 8:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, 28 September 2023.
