- Amendment 0003: The purpose of this Amendment (0003) is to update the time for bid opening on September 1, 2023, from 2:00 PM MT to 10:00 AM MT. Amendment 0002: The purpose of this Amendment (0002) is to provide revised Specifications, Drawings and Questions & Answers, and extend bid due date and bid opening date. Amendment 0001: The purpose of this Amendment (0001) is to provide the pre-bid site visit attendance and answers to questions from industry. Base: NOTE: All bids in response to this Invitation for Bid (IFB) shall be submitted electronically via FedConnect in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation. Questions and inquiries regarding this solicitation must be submitted via e-mail to villareal@wapa.gov and jpratt@wapa.gov. The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a construction requirement for the repair and replacement of the following at various Gering Area Substation Control Buildings: roofs, doors, soffit, fascia, gutters, painting, masonry, and sealants. The project locations are: WY � Goshen County (82240, 82223), Platte County (82214) NE � Dawes County (69337), Box Butte County (69301), Morrill County (69336), Scotts Bluff County (69341) The anticipated period of performance is 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Active SAM Registration: Offeror must have active/current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) to be eligible to receive an award from any Federal agency. By submission of a bid, the bidder acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must have active/current registration in the SAM database at the time of bid submission, prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the Offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer (at the time of bid submission), the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror.
