Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is a request for quote (RFQ). This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror�s initial offer should represent the vendor�s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. The Government will not pay for any information received. This announcement is a request for quote (RFQ).� This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611512 and PSC code U099. ***NOTE: Please fill-in and sign the attached provision document and include with your submission to be considered eligible. ***U.S. Government is Tax Exempt The Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure flight hours to any contractor that can provide a light (small) civilian fixed-wing multi-seat aircraft, such as the DGA-15, Bonanza or Navion.� Must be a light (small) fixed-wing multi-seat civilian aircraft and only a light (small) fixed-wing multi-seat civilian aircraft will be accepted. The contractor shall provide:� up to 20 demonstration flight hours per period in a light (small) fixed-wing multi-seat civilian aircraft to United States Navy Test Pilot School (USNTPS) student and instructor personnel in support of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School Qualitative Evaluation Program.� The Contractor shall provide the following: Please see attached Solicitation N0042123Q0521 which includes the Statement of Work. The following has been added by full text: AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS Award Subject to Availability of Funds This contract is awarded subject to the terms and conditions of clause 52.232-18 as incorporated in Section I, Availability of Funds, and no funding has been incorporated. Accordingly, the contractor is reminded that no contract performance is currently authorized and should make no expenditures or take any actions that incur an obligation upon this contract until funding is received. Destination, and shipping, if applicable, shall be included in the price.
