- N0016423SNC16 � SOURCES SOUGHT � TR-343 Transducer Supply Kits and Spare Parts � PSC 5845 � NAICS 334511 Issue Date: 31 August 2023 - Closing Date: 15 September 2023 SOURCES SOUGHT: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), the Government is issuing this Sources Sought announcement as part of market research. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC-CR) is seeking information for market research purposes to procure TR-343 Transducer Supply Kits and Spare Parts. The Government has a requirement for kitting and spare parts necessary to manufacture TR-343 Transducers and is accepting information regarding capabilities from companies potentially capable of meeting the requirements as described above. BACKGROUND: NSWC-CR has been tasked with procuring TR-343 Transducer Supply Kits and Spare Parts. The TR-343 Transducer is part of the AN/SQS-53C Hull Mounted Sonar Array that supports the AN/SQQ-89(V) Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) system. The AN/SQQ-89(V) is a fully integrated Surface Ship Undersea Warfare (USW) combat system with the capability to search, detect, classify, localize, and attack submarine targets. The TR-343 Transducers are critical components to the AN/SQS 53C necessary to produce mechanical motion in the water for generation of sonar signals when a large voltage is applied. A potential company shall be able to deliver the military grade supply kits and spare parts and have processes and parts storage/management facilities in place that enable successfully delivery time requirements. Interested parties and any teaming partners shall be able to provide all necessary tooling, examination, inspection, measuring, testing and material handling equipment (MHE) required. The potential company shall provide packaging for assembling, storing, transporting and delivery of supply kits and spare parts, which meet or exceed industry best practices. Interested companies shall have a quality program that is ISO 9001-2008 compliant or meets the following requirements: monitor and control critical processes; continuously improve processes; establish mechanisms for performance feedback; and maintain an effective root cause analysis and corrective action system. REQUESTED INFORMATION: Interested parties are requested to provide the information that identifies its capability to provide the kitting and spare parts necessary to support the TR-343 Transducers described herein. Please provide information of performance on other Government contracts with similar efforts as applicable.
